Customer Reviews Policy
We value your feedback. We welcome and encourage reviews from customers who have purchased our products. Your honest opinions – whether positive or negative – help other customers make informed choices and help us improve our products and level of service.
To ensure transparency, we ask that all customer reviews follow the standards below.
Guidelines for leaving reviews
When submitting a review on our website:
- Be honest – reviews must reflect your genuine experience and should be about the relevant product (not other products or groups of products).
- No fake or misleading content – we do not permit fake or misleading reviews. These will be removed.
- One review per purchase – please do not post multiple reviews for a single transaction.
- No conflicts of interest – reviews must not be submitted by anyone with a financial or personal interest in our products, including employees or their immediate families.
- Incentivised reviews must be disclosed – if you received a product for free or at a discount in exchange for a review, please state this clearly in your review (e.g., “I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review” or “I received a discount on this product in exchange for leaving an honest review”).
- No personal data – please do not include any else’s personal information, including full names or contact information, and avoid leaving more information about yourself than is necessary within the publicly accessible review.
- No offensive language.
How we handle incentivised reviews
We do not routinely incentivise reviews. On the rare occasions when we do, we require that any such review explicitly states the incentive received (e.g., “I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review”).
Any review suspected of being incentivised but not disclosed may be flagged, reviewed for compliance with our policy, and could be removed.
How we collect and display reviews
We use Judge.me, a third-party reviews platform, to manage and display customer feedback. Judge.me helps us ensure the integrity of the review process through the following methods:
- Verified purchases – reviews linked to an actual order are marked with a “verified” badge.
- Real-time updates – star ratings and average product ratings update automatically as new reviews are published.
- Fraud prevention – Judge.me monitors review activity, submission patterns, and email behaviour to detect fraudulent or suspicious reviews. Merchants found to be manipulating reviews risk suspension from the platform.

Moderation and transparency
We treat all reviews fairly and do not:
- Remove negative reviews unless they breach our guidelines (e.g., because they contain offensive language, they are undisclosed incentivised reviews, or because they are one of multiple reviews associated with the same purchase).
- Prioritise or give undue prominence to positive reviews over negative ones.
- Suppress, edit, or otherwise alter genuine customer reviews.
We might respond to reviews to provide context or address concerns, but we will never remove a review simply because it is critical about our products or level of service.
Reporting concerns
If you believe a review is fake, misleading, or violates these guidelines, please contact us at: hello@bombaysapphire.com. We will review your concerns in line with our policy and take appropriate action where necessary. Action we may take in order to tackle fake reviews may include removal of individual reviews, monitoring, restricting individuals’ ability to use the site, and/or reporting unlawful behaviour to the relevant authorities.
